Tuff met Grace in Florida. But only briefly. It wasn’t until they were both flying home from their LDS mission from Florida that they were sitting next to each other and had a great chat. It was only a couple of days after they were both home they went on their first date. And the rest is history!
I have known Tuff most of his life. He grew up just down the street from us and I am good friends with his parents. I got to meet Grace when Tuff brought her to a friends wedding wedding I was photographing.I loved her the moment I met her. She is amazing. I can’t say enough good things.
Tuff is a tease- which reminds me of my husband. I saw him tease Grace and how she could total handle it. I messaged Tuff’s mom and said she is a keeper. She can handle him and I could tell she was so good for him too. They are a perfect match. I loved it.
I knew their session was going to be so much fun. Getting pictures taken isn’t something Tuff loves so he does what my husband does- acts a little silly about it. (Side note- last summer we had our family photos taken and he introduced himself to our photographer as Steve. His name is Bryan. I’m like you’re 42 years old! What are you doing! So I am used to this) But I don’t mind having some fun personality shine though. Which I actually saw more at their formals. But I wish my husbands fun personality would have been in more of our wedding photos. It tells the story of us.
I wanted to take Tuff and Grace to a beautiful spot. But we needed to be a little close to the valley so I chose this spot. It worked out perfect. These were some of my favorite photos I took that fall. Also can I mention that her brown sweater with white pants looked so amazing with the background. You don’t have to have bright colors in photos to stand out. She looked amazing.
Can you even believe these mountains? Man I love where I live.
