Natalie was, I think, in Jr. high when she moved in by us. I loved her family the moment I met them. She was my saving grace at a very young age. My oldest son was struggling in school. He was a little 2nd grader at the time. I had just had my 4th child the year before and our house was chaotic to say the least. I needed someone to come and help him do his homework without tons of distractions. Enter Natalie. She volunteered to come to my home once a week and help my son do his homework. I can’t tell you how much of a weight that lifted from me! Instead of him fighting me for a couple of hours to do his work, she got it done with him in 30 minutes. It’s crazy how much better kids act for other people. I’m so grateful for her!

I’ve had the pleasure of taking Natalie’s family pictures twice and also her senior pictures. It wasn’t very long after she graduated until she met Chase. They were in the same student ward and Natalies roommate wanted to investigate the church. Chase was her wards mission leader and I guess you could say the rest is history. Her roommate joined the church and Chase and Natalie got engaged. I am told this cute roommate of hers is going to be a bridesmaid at their wedding so I’m looking forward to meeting her!

I had seen a couple of photos of her dress beforehand but it is so much better in person. I’ve seen a lot of wedding dresses but I think hers may be my new favorite. She got it at Petals and Promises here in town. It was freaking amazing. The train and detail is breathtaking. And she fits in it so perfect. She also had her florals done at Lees Marketplace. I know it seems silly to get them done at a grocery store but I have been impressed with their stuff every time I’ve had a bride use them. (and my old bride works their doing the florals too!)

We did their first look at the nature park near the temple. It was nice to have a couple of different locations for their photos. After we headed up to the Logan Temple to finish the rest. I LOVE the flowers this time of year. Spring the flowers come and go so quickly but this time of year they are pretty every single day.

We were walking around the side of the temple and the way the light was coming through the trees was making my little heart so happy. I think I had her walk slowly for 5 minutes to make sure I got all the photos I wanted. I’m so glad they both put up with me!

I am so excited to be apart of their wedding TODAY! They are such a perfect match for each other and I couldn’t be happier for them both.
