Utah Wedding Photographer- Heather Palmer-

I’ve photographed events and pictures in all different types of weather. 100 degrees- windy, rainy, snowy. I’m like the post office- “in rain, sleet etc.” We always deliver. I’m pretty sure this will go down as my coldest wedding to date. But I have to tell you- it was worth it. I just love this couple.

Not only was it single digits that day but it was super sunny (sun off of snow is no good). On top of that Bountiful temple was undergoing lots of construction outside. It made it very difficult to find places to take the group photos. The spots that were still nice looking were in full bright blinding sun. Everything else was blocked off. So we choose to go by the front doors. It really was the only thing we could do but it worked perfect. And I knew this couple enough to know they were going to be totally laid back about everything. I was right.

My poor bride. She was so cold! But she never once complained. I had handwarmers and blanket to wrap around her. My awesome second shooter Cayleen helped make sure she was warmed up in between shots. And honestly when it’s this cold everyone is happy to move as quickly as possible though photos.

One thing that is fun about this couple is that we took their engagements it was August. Their formals were in October and their wedding in December. He is a hunting guide so we worked around his crazy fall schedule. Their sessions were all in different seasons. I love that. Check out the end of this post to see links to those sessions.
