Utah State Capitol Building Wedding Formals
The weather ruined our plans for their wedding formals. It was the first couple of weeks of November and the fields we were going to use were a muddy mess. Not right for wedding formals. I don’t often travel far for photos but since Tuff grew up down the street from me and his mom is one of my best friends I thought let’s give it a go.
Grace asked if we could use the capital building for her photos. I had seen hundreds of sessions done here but have never been myself. To be honest it was really fun to have a brand new location. I spent hours looking at inspiration of other sessions around the capital to get some ideas of spots to use. No matter how much you look at the photos it is never the same as seeing it in person.
I’m going to say something bold here. I’ve seen a lot of very beautiful wedding dresses over the years. Out of all of them Grace is if not just one of my favorites my very favorite dress I’ve seen. The word that comes to find is elegant. I’m still obsessing and it’s been awhile since their wedding. It literally looked like something a princess would wear. And her VEIL. Oh man. I’m geeking out over here!
I was fully prepared for rain and bad weather and we even had a little bit of sun come out. It was perfect.
Tuff and Grace make me so happy they found each other. I’ve known Tuff since he was a little boy and for him to find someone as wonderful as Grace makes me so happy.
