I absolutely love taking missionary photos. They are some of my very favorite types of sessions. In fact I noticed that at my church building all of the missionary displayed for my ward had pictures that I took of them! What a honor that is. I love being able to do that for my friends.

This pretty girl left on her mission last fall. I didn’t know her until our session but felt like we could be friends! She was such a sweetheart.  I started following her on instargram before she left (like I usually do with clients if I can). I noticed later in the fall that she had to come home due to some health problems. She was preparing for surgeries and hoping to get well enough to head back on her mission soon! I hesitated posed her session because it’s difficult to come home when you want to stay so badly. But I also think that time served doesn’t make you a missionary. It’s the fact that you went! So her session deserved to be shared. And besides she is so adorable I want her pretty face on my blog. =) I’m praying her health returns so she can continue her mission as planned!

I’m telling you- the temple grounds in August/ September are amazing! IT is always my favorite time of year for photos around the temple. And her gold skirt was to die for! I loved it!
