Cassie found me though her brother and sister in law that live by me. I had taken their family pictures for years now and so when she got engaged passed my name over to her. What a blessing that was to me! I can honestly say that when I see my couples months after their weddings I always love to go up and say hello! Like they are my long lost friends.
One thing I could tell from the moment I met Cassie and Jason was that Jason was way outgoing and Cassie was more reserved. It kind of reminds me of my husband and I! I told Cassie that I was going to ask them to be cuddly and affectionate with each other for their engagement pictures and Jason was like “hey I love this!” Cassie isn’t the biggest PDA person and I totally get that! But by their wedding day we had taken so many pictures of them that she had warmed up to the idea a lot.
One thing that is really clear from being around them is how much Jason loves Cassie. The way he talks to her, the way he looks at her. It’s obvious that the feeling is mutual as well. They really enjoy every moment they spend together.
I absolutely love when I can take a couples engagements, formals and wedding day photos. It really helps them to get to know me and feel comfortable around me by the time their wedding comes along. I knew from their engagements that I was going to love all of our time spend together. Boy was I right!
