Logan Utah Senior Photographer/KW Teens Class
I have always loved taking pictures. I remember being a little girl with my mom’s 1970’s film camera going around my house taking pictures of flowers. I took photo classes in high school where we developed film. (yes I am THAT old!) Fast forward to about 4 years ago when I decided I wanted to learn more about the ins and outs of photography and bought a new lens for my nikon d3100. I spent night after night on Pinterest learning to to use my camera in manual mode, posing ideas and family photography tips. Being a stay at home mom I felt bad paying for classes and decided to do it on my own. I regret that now! I feel like my progression with my photos has been so slow compared to these up and coming photographers who jump in with both feet! Granted they are jumping in without kids and I did with 5- so I do cut myself a little slack.
So when I saw a Facebook post from Kristin Wilkerson photography that she was teaching a senior photography class I really wanted to take it! She is seriously the most amazing senior photographer. I mulled it over for about a week and decided to go for it. She was kind enough to fit me into her class. I have never done something like this and wasn’t really sure what to expect. I ended up making a couple of friends and learning a ton! Not only that I got a ton of amazing photos from our beautiful models. Seriously they are drop dead gorgeous. Poor things were freezing in their little dresses but you can’t tell from their photos.
I can’t wait to take a few more classes. It was so much fun to get some fresh new ideas and tips from a pro!
