Rocky Mountain Bridals- Utah Photographer-Most of the time when a client says they have a place in mind for their photos I get a little nervous. Sometimes a location doesn’t work well for pictures. This time when Taya mentioned this spot I knew it would be perfect. In fact my husband had shown me this spot months before telling me I should use it. Not only was in insanely beautiful but fit this couple perfectly. The mountains had just been dusted with snow and it was perfect. Besides there was no one there!
I felt like singing songs from the Sound of Music while we walked in the grass. I don’t know if you have noticed from my pictures but I love beautiful green grass and fields! We talked about how the knew this spot and they mentioned that they went on a hike and saw this spot. They knew it was perfect for them. These two love to hike! They spend a lot of time in the mountains together. Which is why this location fit them perfectly.
Another personal touch they did was her bouquet. She got wild flowers for her bouquet. I absolutely loved them! I’m a huge sucker for wild flowers. Fun fact- when you see her wedding day photos you will notice all of the pretty flowers. They grew a lot of them for the wedding!
If I had to use one word to describe Jason and Taya it would be happy. All I had to say was look at each other and they would start to giggle. They were the easiest couple I’ve ever photographed to get to genuinely smile. If face some of the prompts I gave them made Taya laugh so hard she cried! We had to stop so we didn’t mess up her makeup.
