I met Summer years ago when her dad proposed to her step mom. I had no idea it was coming and it totally surprised me! All of the kids were there to watch it happen too. One thing I noticed right away is how much Summer and her sisters loved their new step mom Julie. I especially saw it when they were sealed and came out of the temple. The first person Summer hugged was Julie. They have the sweetest relationship.
This session kept me on my toes. I knew Summer had a different style than me. I wanted to really push myself out of my regular box and try things. And Summer was the perfect person to do this with. Their family member runs the greenhouse at USU campus so we got access in them after hours. I loved it! I’m obsessed with plants so just walking around the greenhouse was fun for me.
I think that senior sessions should express personality to the senior. It should show off things they love. Some bring sports gear, some their pet. And for Summer we did a lot with clothes she loves. I think they really show off her fun personality. She is also an incredible artist! I just love her and feel so lucky to have taken her senior pictures.
