Photographer Logan Utah|Baptism Session
I don’t shy away from saying that photographing kids is my favorite. Kids relax much faster then adults in front of the camera. They are willing to be silly and fun. My goal is always to capture their true personality and real smiles. It’s much harder then just knowing how to take a pretty picture.
Most kids are a little nervous when their photo session starts. I do things like chat with their mom and talk with them help them warm up. By end of the session if they start showing me poses they want to do I know I’ve done my job. I always let kids try some poses because even if I know that photo is not going to turn out well I know that they are having fun if they want to try something.
This little sweetie was kind of shy at the beginning of our session. That is really normal. the more time went on the more she warmed up and was totally silly by the end of the session. This is why I have a hard time keeping my baptism sessions to 30 minutes! I’m doing better with this I promise!
I knew she was having fun when she wanted to do some dance poses. She loved the way her dress twirled and so did I! She is such a sweetheart. Her sweet smile melted my heart. Congrats on getting baptized!
