When I do children’s sessions I never really know what to expect. Sometimes kids come to me super shy and it’s my mission to get them to warm up by the end of the session. I absolutely love to capture kids personalities! My whole goal is get them past the cheese smiles to real ones. Lucky for me this little sweetie took about 5 seconds to warm up to me. It made our whole session super fun. She was telling me poses she wanted to do and had me laughing the whole time.

She actually was baptized before her session because he couldn’t make it work in our schedules to do it before. This actually gave us more room to let her dress get a little dirt if we needed it to. I may have gotten a little carried away and over shot her session… I tend to do that. Especially with baptism sessions because they are my very favorite.

I met up with her mom soon after our session. I got the sweetest little card and piece of candy from her to say thank you. I’m pretty sure I will keep it forever. She even drew a little photo of me taking her pictures of her in her pretty dress. It said “thank you for being my fitother” (photographer). How sweet is that? I know this may seem backward but when I student taught in a second grade classroom I loved the little ways the kids would spell things wrong. Congrats on getting baptized!
