I met Jada about a year ago. She was looking for a photographer for her girls choice dance and contacted me. The moment I met her I just loved her! Since then I’ve been able to photograph multiple dance groups for her and now her senior pictures. It’s always a pleasure every time I am with her.
We have had the craziest winter this year! We have a record amount of snow all the way into April. Jada wanted winter photos anyway so it worked great this year. I knew the spot I wanted to take her. We needed to get into the mountains with the pine trees and snow. The problem is the snow is deep. Not just a little deep- feet deep! So I can’t take her anywhere there isn’t a packed down trail. Or we could sink to or shoulders.
I know where some snowmobile trails where and felt safe walking on those. It helps that a lot of our summer razor trails are also snowmobile trails. I had a couple of ideas for locations and all included mountains and pine trees. The only problem was it started to snow when we got up there. The clouds blocked out some of the mountains but it still made for beautiful photos!
We had so much fun! It was cold but not freezing cold so it wasn’t too bad to be outside. And I can’t get over how beautiful our mountains are around here. It blows me away every time. Especially driving up Logan canyon. I just love where I live.
