Logan Utah Photographers/2019 in review
What a year it’s been! I changed up a couple of things in my business this year. One was that I didn’t shoot as many weddings this year. Also all of them were closer to home. As much as I loved traveling around to other temples saying closer to home was really good for my family. The major downside to that is that I LOVE my couples. I feel like we are good friends by the time we are done with their wedding.
One of the highlights of my year was being able to photograph a wedding for a family I’ve already done a wedding for. Two years ago I did the older brothers wedding and this September I got to shot his younger brothers wedding. So fun to get their whole family in front of my camera again.
One of my other couples were students of mine back when I taught 4th grade. They actually met in my classroom. And guess what? I saw another one of my students at their reception and I get to photograph her wedding this month! Ekkkk I’m so stinking excited! I absolutely loved everyone of my couples. I really luck out with he best clients.
I lost count at the amount of family sessions I did this year. Part of the reason was I opened up a lot more mini sessions and those have been a huge success. I spent a lot of time up in tony grove again this summer. Not a bad way to spend the summer. We even did my own extended family pictures up there. It’s my very favorite places.
Baptism and missionary sessions are still one of my very favorite things to photograph.My missionary mini session event (that I didn’t even show below) and it was my biggest one yet. Also I’ll be honest- I would fill my entire schedule with seniors if I could. Portraits are my very favorite. Maybe it’s because they are so much easier to edit. haha!
I can’t thank everyone enough for their love and support of me and my business. I’m ALWAYS humbled when someone chooses me to take pictures of them. I love you all and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
