When Sadie was a teenager I loved to hire her as a babysitter for my kids. She is the oldest in a big family and I knew she would be awesome with my kids. My kids loved her coming over! I knew when she graduated from high school and started college she would end up meeting a awesome guy someday because she is so amazing. I was right! I saw her start posting photos of Hunter and secretly hoped if she got engaged she would let me be her photographer. The day came when I got a message from her that they were about to get engaged and she wanted to get on my books. I may have danced around a bit about it!
We went to the prettiest spot I could think of for the time of year. It was cloudy but still super pretty. I saw some pretty yellow flowers on a hill by where we were and we made the hike over to them. I didn’t realize it was as far as it was away from where we were. In my head I was thinking what if it’s ugly up there and I made them come all the way over here? But it ended up being a gorgeous spot with a perfect view of the mountains. I lucked out!
I am really lucky that it was my session with Sadie and Hunter that I had something embarrassing happen. I’m not sure why it embarrassed me so bad because I couldn’t help what happened but I was SO embarrassed! We were half way though their session when they went to change clothes. I noticed that the tire on my car was completely flat! Like to the rim. I was up in the mountains 15-20 minutes from home. I was sick and embarrassed to be in front of clients and have that happen. Lucky for me Hunter came to my rescue. After we finished their engagements he helped me figure out where my spare tire was and got it on. I had to drive home going like 30 MPH but I made it! Seriously lucked out that it was Hunter could save the day. I told Sadie he was a keeper for sure.
