My spring schedule is always totally crazy. I just can’t say no to a senior session because I love them! I love getting to know them and hear about their plans after graduation. They are all so different! Some are going to our local university, others are are getting ready to leave on missions. Then you get seniors like this gorgeous girl- she is going on a humanitarian trip to Europe! How cool is that? I really regret not doing something like that after high school. I jumped right into school and went every semester until I graduated. By then I was married!
I liked Kayla as soon as I met her. She is graduating from Ridgeline High School and I knew a lot of people she knew. I decided to take her to green canyon because the valley was still pretty dead that time of year. Usually it’s really green and full of flowers but this year it just won’t warm up! I love all of the cedar trees to give us some green. I’m sad they chopped most of the trees I liked to use before but we still found some pretty spots!
Her mom really wanted her to wear her prom dress for some of her pictures. She wasn’t that excited about it. I told her we could take a few at the end for her mom. No big deal. Well her dress was amazing! It flowed so perfectly I just loved it. I ended up taking more then a few pictures because I was having too much fun! It was a good thing for her that her friend called because I was having so much fun I would have kept taking more pictures. Yes I’m a photographer nerd.
Her mom wrote me the sweetest review. “Heather took the senior pics for our youngest daughter in April 2019. I was blown away by everything she did. The location was perfect, her eye for posing and light was perfect, she was so friendly and relaxed and brought out my daughters personality. She was patient with our outfit changes and gave great suggestions for everything. Then I saw the pictures and they were….perfection! We received her photos within a week and couldn’t be happier.
