Logan Utah Photographer -Family-This year I tried something different and did mini sessions in the summer. I’ve never done them at Tony Grove and I wondered how that would work with the light. The first sessions I did was not all the way at the lake but another location that I love to use. It was during the wild flower season (my very favorite time of year and location for pictures) . Most of the people that had signed up for pictures I had known before so I really didn’t advertise much for them. This cute mom messaged me about a session and I happened to have one more slot of my tony grove minis. She jumped on it and the rest is history!

To say their family was a joy to photograph is an understatement. Their kids were adorable and had just the right mix of funny personality and being able to follow directions. We were able to get so many really good pictures for them. I think their little girl takes the cake though. Her big beautiful eyes melted my heart. She had the absolute sweetest little personality.

People ask me all the time what is the best time of year to get your pictures taken. It’s this- middle of July at Tony Grove with the wild flowers and my very favorite. The contrast with the mountains, the rocks and the different colors of green with the pine trees and plants. Then you add in the mix of wild flowers and it’s PERFECTION. See for yourself-
