One thing I’ve always wanted to do with photography is bless my family with it. I’m very lucky that there is not one person in my family (close and extended) that tries to take advantage of me as a photographer and want free shoots. Not one and I have literally hundreds of relatives. I have the best family. Which makes it even more fun to offer free shoots to my nieces and nephews. I started doing free baptism photoshoots for all of them years ago. It’s my small way to spend some one on one time with them (and their mom) and have fun taking pictures. I love this. I totally look forward to it! This time it was this little sweethearts turn. We actually did her’s a little backwards because she was baptized a few weeks before her shoot. We were smart though and waited for the tulips to be in bloom and we were there right at the peak of them. They were PERFECT! I couldn’t get over how pretty they were! We picked a Sunday afternoon to go up there which I love because there is a lot less people and cars around.

There were these two ducks that came and landed in the fountain! The silly things! I took a few pictures of them in the pond with her but then edited a few others out. I love the symbolism of the water where she got baptized recently.

Can I just say I love her little toothless smile. I love 8 year old smiles because they are usually toothless and I think it’s so cute. I loved spending the evening with her and her cute little smile. I’m so lucky to be her aunt!
