Every time I had a session with these two the stars aligned and the weather turned out wonderful. I’m not sure how they did it. We have had such a rainy and cold year that a lot of my sessions turn out just like that- rainy and cold. But who would have guessed this session was done back in March? The only place I knew that would’t look completely dead was Green Canyon. And since the “lovely” forest service cut down pretty much the the whole canyons trees we found a new location there to have their session. It ended up working perfect!
It’s fun how a lot of my brides end up being elementary education majors/or teachers. Since that was what I went out in I love having that in common with them! Tristin is going to be a awesome teacher someday too. Tristin and McKay met while working at Lee’s Marketplace. She is an AMAZING florist that works for them. Seriously I can’t wait to show you her bouquet when I post their formal and wedding photos. Here is what she said about getting McKay “We met when we were both working at Lee’s. I always laugh looking back on it because ending up with someone that I worked with was seriously the last thing I wanted to do. But we had mutual coworker friends and started hanging out together in groups and pretty we became kinda inseparable. He became my best friend and it all happened so naturally!”
They are the sweetest couple. I’m so blessed to have been able to be a small party of their big day.
I also found out that Tristin’s cousins used to live by me! I just took some of their photos last winter and used to teach one of them in primary at church. I seriously love what a small world this is.
