Logan Ut Portrait Photographers|Missionary-You know when you watch someone grow up and then they move away. And even though you know that they have grown up since you have seen them in your head that person is still the same age as when they left? I’m I the only one that does that? This totally happened to me with this pretty girl. They used to live by us and I was friends with her parents. The moved away when she was like 12 or 14 and in my head she was still this cute young teenager. I count not believe that she was already graduated from high school! Not only that but leaving to serve a mission!

This girl is such gorgeous girl- inside and out. I was beyond exited when they asked me to take some mission pictures for her. I’ve said this over and over again but I absolutely love taking missionary pictures. It’s for sure one of my favorite types of photography. Serve a mission is such a huge thing to me. In a day and age when everyone is saying kids these days are so selfish (and that can be true) and yet I meet kids like this girl who are putting their life on hold for 18 months and serving people that they don’t even know. In a place most have never been. Speaking a crazy language sometimes. Isn’t that amazing? It’s such a honor to meet these kids.

I’m a huge sucker for good light. At one point the golden light was coming through the trees and I thought my little photographer heart would almost burst.
