Growing up Addi always dreamed of getting married in the temple. It was always something her and Braden wanted for themselves. When they were dating there was never a thought of that not being a option. But by the time they got engaged it was the middle of the pandemic. The temples were already closed but honestly we all thought they would be back open by the time they got married in July! Well, they weren’t. So they had to make a plan B.
So what do you do when you can’t get married where you want? You make the best of it! And these two did just that. My mother in law (Braden’s Grandma) has a beautiful backyard with lots of shade. Addi’s family came the night before and set up a beautiful ceremony space. With the current restrictions they kept to the 50 people maximum so my kids were actually hiding inside the house so they wouldn’t be in the way.
Their ceremony was so beautiful! My favorite parts were her dad walking her down the asile, the beautiful things their bishop told them and how giddy with excitement Addi was! She was so cute! She couldn’t contain her excitement!

The photo above and below are a couple of my favorites. Her dad is so cute.
Braden is the brother to my angel niece Sannette. Last summer her new obsession was the cha cha slide. We had to do the cha cha slide with her about every time we saw her. In all honesty I love it because it makes her so happy. My kids especially thought it was fun to dance with her. The only song they played to dance to at the wedding was the cha cha slide for Sannette. How cute that Addi wanted to make sure her new sister in law had her moment at her wedding. So kind and so Addi and Braden. Thinking of Sannette and not just themselves.
