Local Family Photographers Cache Valley
A couple of years ago my husband was going on and on about going mountain lion hunting. He wanted to take my older boys so bad. The problem with hunting mountain lions is you really need trained dogs to do it. Lucky for my boys I know a guy.
When I met Todd and Cassidy I could tell Todd was totally out of his element. That isn’t uncommon by the way. But as soon is I figured out his was a hunting guide Wyoming I knew I had something to talk about with him. My husbands family loves to hunt. In fact my brother in law lives and hunts in Wyoming with my husband all of the time.
By the time I photographed their wedding Todd was totally used to me. I can’t say he loved getting his photo taken but he was at least relaxed! And I just love his sweet wife Cassidy. She is such a sweetheart!
Todd, as part of their family business, takes people mountain lion hunting in the winter. I sent him a message to see if he was available and willing to take my family. He agreed and we set it up. As part of his payment I offered to take some family pictures for him and his wife. Who was pregnant at the time! My husband ended up getting a mountain lion and loved hanging out with Todd. I knew they would.
We waited to take their family pictures until their sweet baby was a little older. Isn’t she a DOLL! Oh my heck I love her and he cute little round face! She didn’t want to smile for me. I tried everything. Finally at the end I got a couple of sweet smiles out of her.
My boys ended up going hunting with Todd again last winter too. He is a good sport for taking them again. I’m so grateful to him for being willing to take them because those hunts are some amazing memories for my kids.
