I feel so lucky to know this family. Years ago I was at a parent teacher conference for my little boy Brett. He was in first grade and his teacher was a friend of mine. She asked me if I have a little boy in their class over to my house a lot. Honestly I didn’t even know what this boy looked like. But she said Owen and Brett were the best of friends! When Brett was asked over to their house I had him go over and struck up a friendship with his sweet mom. Then they moved to North Logan the next year and we still get the boys together. Now they are in 5th grade!
This is Owens little sister. Isn’t she adorable?? And her purple scriptures! I’m pretty sure I need a set of purple scriptures myself! I didn’t even know you could get those! Her mom pulled them out for her special for her photos and baptism. She was so excited! Then when we found some pretty purple flowers we made sure to get some photos by them. Can you tell purple is her favorite color?
Just before her baptism she was going over with her mom who she wanted to invite. She said “well we should invite Brett’s mom because she took my pictures!” What a sweetie! It made me so happy because my number one goal for these sessions is to capture the Childs personality and that they have fun. Because those two usually go together. If they are having fun they are willing to show off their sweet personalities.
When her brother got baptized it was during the pandemic and we took his pictures around their home. My son was also baptized in 2020 and the temple grounds were closed. It is so nice that we can get back around the temple!
