Formal Photographer Logan Utah- When you look up the definition of high school sweethearts you are going to see a picture of Kiah and Jordan. In fact they dated the entire time they were in high school. Can you believe it? How fun that they got to experience high school TOGETHER! They got engaged around Christmas time and by the next September they were getting married in the Brigham City temple. They got their engagements taken on a vacation earlier so I had the pleasure of taking their formals. I knew exactly where we needed to go! Tony Grove. And lucky for them it started getting dark towards the end or I would have kept them there taking photos forever. I don’t know if have laughed so much during a session then with these two.
I wondered before I met them how taking formals of a couple who just graduated high school a few months before would differ then the rest of my couples. Honestly it was different- but different in a good way! They were so relaxed and fun! Honestly I think that has more to do with their personalities than their age. These two are so comfortable around each other. It was such a fun evening.
Jordan is dang funny. He is like a big kid. Totally reminds me of my husband so I was right at home with him being silly. He was just the right about of silly and could be serious when needed as well. One of my favorite pictures from their session is when I had him do the sneak attack. He came up behind her and picked her up and she was laughing so hard. I feel like that sums up their relationship well. They made it so easy to show their personality. We had to get a few fun and silly ones of them too.
Kiah’s dress was amazing and fit her perfectly. It’s from Pedals and Promises. A few of the photos I really tried to show off how pretty her dress was and they ended up being my favorite pictures of the session.
Also I’ve decided we need to do photos again Kiah and Jordan! I miss you guys!
Sorry for the photo overload. I refuse to narrow down these photos anymore I love them all!
