Out of all of the locations I use- and I have a bunch this one is my favorite. Tony Grove is just the best for photos. I love the drive up, I love pine tree and their wonderful smell, I love the cool clean air. And mostly I love how absolutely beautiful it is! I’m always amazed how many people have never been here! If you haven’t you need to go at least once. It’s just a quick 45 minute drive from Logan up Logan canyon.
I’ve been lucky enough to take this families photos before. The dad actually went to school with my husband poor guy! And yet he still is willing to have me take his photos. And come to find out their pretty mom grew up in a town that wasn’t too far from where I grew up in Idaho. I even have family there by her family. Their oldest daughter even runs cross country with my son too. We had connections all over the place!
Can we talk about teenagers with photos? Sometimes they aren’t really into getting their picture taken. This happens for many different reasons. I’m not going to guess while one of their kids wasn’t really into photos because I have no idea. And she was so sweet and totally went along with it. I could tell she didn’t love her smile.
Not feeling comfortable with something about myself is something I understand a lot about. I had braces for 5 1/2 years. I’m not even kidding. They were on forever. I looked nuts for years because of all the movement they did with my teeth. I felt so awkward and honesty don’t have a lot of photos though that time of my life. Making adults smile with their teeth is something I never do. Sometimes I will push kids to though. Like showing their teeth. If their mom pushes it and would love to see their smile I might try to make them laugh. It’s important for me to be respectful to my clients and honor what they feel most comfortable though.
