I am so comfortable with boy families. All I know is boys from being a mom of 5 boys. So interacting with boys is something I know how to do. And I love seeing families that have kids a little older than mine. It feels like it’s a glance into my future. This one especially did. A family with their oldest getting ready to serve a mission needing some family pictures before he left. This is going to be me in 18 months.
I knew the perfect spot for photos. And no I won’t tell you where it is. And it did turn out just the way I wanted it to! I just can’t get enough of the mountains up here. It worked so well for them. I had never met them before this day but Amy’s sister in law (also named Amy) is one of my very best friends. So we had a lot to talk about.
Amy is a elementary school teacher. She even teaches the same grade I used to teach! Not only that she is currently teaching her youngest son. I would love and hate that at the same time I think. My boys would be pretty naughty for me at school I’m pretty sure.
I’m grateful these boys put up with me. I know for most boys getting their pictures taken isn’t their favorite thing but I try to make it as fun and fast as possible. These guys made my job super easy.
