I have known and loved the parents of this family for a really long time. I live close to them and we attend church together. They had one daughter and then 5 sons. So Margaret understands me more than most do. I have 5 boys but no girls. Her daughter is her oldest and lives in Hawaii with her husband and three children. When they come to visit for awhile they stay with her mom so I am lucky enough to know them too.

When you have family that lives all over the place and you are together for a family reunion family pictures are a must! I make my family do that all the time even if its just a quick photo from a camera on a timer. Families change so much very quickly so it’s so good to get a photo while everyone is together.

Isn’t this location cool? It’s actually the back yard from one of their kids. The only problem was the mosquitos but we did have some spray! They had all the family there but one- their cute granddaughter who was serving a mission for our church. They brought a photo of her so she was represented.

I did something that I just started offering if time allows. One on one photos with grandma and grandpa. I wish I had a really nice photo with my grandparents. Especially now that all of my grandparents are gone.

I’ve always had a special connection with my own extended family. My cousins were always, and are still, some of my very best friends. Friends come and go but family is forever! Don’t put off getting a big family group photo that you will treasure forever.
