I can’t tell you how humbling it is when clients drive a long way for me to take their pictures. It’s starting to happen more and more to me and every time I am blown away people make the effort to have me take their pictures. This pretty girl was one of those people. She saw some of my post online with my missionary sessions and drove from the Salt Lake area to have me take her pictures. I had her meet me at this location so it wasn’t as far of a drive for her and I loved it so much.
She is currently serving her mission in Washington DC right now. I just noticed that between her dress and the flag she is red white and blue- fitting for serving her mission the the capital of the USA. She didn’t love showing her teeth with her smile- honestly I think she has a gorgeous smile! But her mom and I did get her to show her pretty teeth a few times. Mostly for her mom who loves her smile too.
One of my main goals in a photo session is to get a real smile from my clients. Everyone has a picture smile. I want to show of my clients real smile! The kind the lights up their eyes. It’s pretty normal for me to look like a idiot for my clients to look good. I tell dumb jokes, I laugh like an idiot. The list goes on and on. It’s totally worth it to help my clients have the kind of photos they will love for a lifetime.
I can’t get over the light in this session! It wasn’t super sunny but it was just enough to give her a little glow behind her head. She looked like an Angel. I’m so lucky to have met her and her cute mom. They made my week by driving up for a photo session! I know they loved the photos as much as I did.
