Cache Valley Photographer| Wedding Formals
When I first started talking to Cassidy she told me that her sessions were going to have to be spread out because her then fiancee soon to be husband was a hunting guide. I know ALL TOO WELL what it’s like scheduling your life around hunting season. What used to be a week of hunting has turned into most of the month of September, October and into November in my house! So we did Cassidy and Todd’s engagements in August, October was their formals and December was their wedding. What was really cool about that was that their engagements were in the summer and formals in the fall. Their wedding ended up being like 10 degrees too. We almost hit every season!
Not only did we time the fall colors just right the storm that had just came in the night before dusted the mountains with snow. It was breathtaking! I told Cassidy she must be living right! We started at the very edge of this huge long driveway. I didn’t want to be on the property because I didn’t know the owner. Just then the owner drove up, congratulated my couple then insisted we use more of the driveway if we would like to. What a nice guy!
We saw some turkeys and deer while we were taking their formals. With Todd being a big deer hunter we laughed that all he needed in that field was a huge buck behind them. So I ended up photoshopping one in the background for him for fun. I think he got a big kick out of that.
I know this is silly but I’ve had a good laugh over the next part. I hate mice. Like can’t stand them. Well we were at the edge of a big field so their are mice going into holes everywhere. Cassidy and I weren’t too happy about it. I’m sure Todd got a good kick out of my hopping around the field trying not to see anymore mice.
