I’m telling you I just love this couple. I honestly love all my couples! But I feel this special bond with them like we have been friends for years. Megan works at Chick-fl-a and if I am ever in there and she is working I try to say hi! Even if it’s through the drive though window. Poor girl is so kind to put up with me haha.

Can I say again that I love these two? They are such an ideal client to have. One of the first things she told me was that they trusted me to make any judgement call I needed to. She knew I would make them look good! I love to hear that. It gives me confidence when I know my clients have confidence in me.

Even though we took their engagement photos at Tony Grove we ended up doing their formals there too because, I mean it’s Tony Grove. Few places are more beautiful for photos. And I took them to a little different spot that no one is ever at. It’s kid of my secret Tony Grove location I take my clients too. Hopefully it stays secret! `

I have to tell you a story about this photo. I am also super careful with peoples wedding rings for obvious reasons. When I take a photo like this I have them on my pinky finger until right before. Well this flower was about 12 inches off the ground and I was setting up the shot. Well the flower stem bent and her ring fell off. No big deal I’m sitting in a very flat spot with just dirt. Easy to find. You would think. I started looking and after about a minute I started to panic. Where on earth would it have gone?

After a couple of minutes I came clean to the couple that was just talking and laughing near by. I was SO EMBARRASSED but I knew I could find it because there was no way it was lost forever. It took TJ about 5 seconds to spot her ring (it rolled where I was sitting and I was looking in front of me). I have a little PTSD from this ring shot. I now put the rings right on my picky until I set them up and make sure it’s in a safe spot!
