Brigham City Temple Wedding

I asked Ashely why she picked the Brigham City temple to get married in. Honestly I figured it was because the Logan Temple was closed for cleaning. She smiled and said “I liked it because it is white!”. I love it! I think it’s pretty cool brides in Utah have a ton of temples to choose from to get married in. This was my first wedding at the Brigham City temple and I was so excited. My friends husband works on the grounds there. They do an amazing job! It was so beautiful!

Their wedding was on a hot August day in the afternoon. I was worried about dealing with the light because I had never been on the grounds to do pictures before. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do before I got there. We had a lot of wildfires at the time and that actually muted the light a lot. There really isn’t a huge place for large group family pictures. We had to use these little stairs by the gate but I think it worked perfect!

I had talked to Ashley’s mom on the phone when they booked everything with me but nothing since. When I met her and asked her a few questions about photos they needed she just said she trusted me and knew I would do a good job. It’s honestly my favorite thing clients can say. I’m always happy to work with requests from clients but I love when they trust me with light and location.

I honestly was really sad when I was finished with their pictures. After doing their engagements, formals and now their wedding pictures my time with them was done! I told them to promise me when they needed family pictures someday to look me up!

Also thanks to Bella for being my second shooter. She was awesome!
